Preventive dentistry

Preventive dentistry aims to maintain a healthy mouth, through systematic check ups. It should start from an early age and includes check ups, information, education on how to brush the teeth correctly, fluoridation and in some cases preventive fillings (sealants). Prevention continues through out all ages with regular check ups and teeth cleaning every 6 months. In this way, any cavities or other problems are diagnosed and treated early.

General dentistry

This section of dentistry includes all the routine dental treatments, such as scaling, fillings, root canal treatments, simple extractions, fixed and removable dental prosthesis.

Cosmetic dentistry

This field focuses on the improvement of smile appearance by applying the latest aesthetic and smile design rules. This can be achieved through a number of procedures such as tooth whitening or with replacement of the amalgam restorations (aka black fillings) with aesthetic ones (aka white fillings). For more complex cases, all-ceramic crowns or veneers are recommended. These give us the ability to modify the colour, the shape or even the position of the teeth in cases of mild orhodontic problems.

Prosthetic dentistry

The part of dentistry which aims to restore teeth that are missing from the dental arch for various reasons. Prosthetic dentistry also intends to achieve a balanced occlusion for a long-term stable and functional result. For the prosthetic restorations there is a variety of choices concerning the materials, the manufacturing procedure and the structure. According to your personalised needs, we will suggest the one that suits you the most.

Oral Surgery

The wide and specialised field of dentistry, which treats exclusively surgical cases. For example, in the case of fully- or semi-impacted wisdom teeth, supernumerary teeth, root remnants or any periapical pathology (e.g cyst), these are removed and treated surgically. Also, in orthodontic treatment cases where a tooth remains impacted, it is exposed surgically for further orthodontic movement..
